How do I calculate a 20% discount?
Multiply the price by 0.8 (or subtract price × 0.20). The calculator does this for any percentage.
Is "50% off, then 50% off" free?
No — it is 75% off total, because the second 50% applies to the already-halved price.

Enter the tax rate as a negative discount for a quick estimate, though exact tax rules vary by region.
